UCLA Rowing Team

Here is my photoshoot of UCLA's senior class rowing team! We started this shoot at 6:00am, which for them was easy since they usually practice everyday around that time. For me however, well lets just say I can sleep in till noon.
I loved this photoshoot and I must admit that I am now a big fan of early morning shoots. The lighting is so soft and there is less worry about losing the sunlight. These girls were so amazing and very easy to work with! I had a lot of fun getting to know each of them and I wish them all the very best in their futures! Congrats ladies! :)

Brittany's Grad Photos

I had such a great time traveling to Arizona to take photos of my gorgeous friend Brittany! She recently graduated from ASU with a degree in kinesiology and I couldn't be more proud of her and all of her accomplishments. We started off the shoot by taking photos on campus, however we lost lighting quickly and soon we were taking photos in the dark! After the shoot, I was worried we didn't get that "perfect photo" (since the sun decided to hide from us) and I asked Britt what she thought of taking more photos the next day. She was down! The second time around we made sure to start taking photos earlier, giving us much more time to relax and have fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this two day shoot with Brittany. She is one of my best friends and we giggled and goofed around the whole time (still managing to get great photos of course)! Love ya to death Britt and thank you for being such a great friend! :)

Justin+Brooke Proposal

One of my best friends, Brooke, is engaged and will soon be marrying the love of her life, Justin! I was very lucky to be able to witness and capture such a special moment that happens only once in a lifetime. I don't think I've ever been so nervous for a shoot before! Not only did I have to pretend I didn't know this proposal was happening for weeks, but I also had to hide in one of the bedrooms right before Justin proposed. Lets just say my heart was pounding! Brookie had no idea I was there and after she said yes she looked over and realized it was me taking their photos. With tears running down her face she gasped, "Meghan?! How long have you known this was happening?!"
After Justin proposed we walked around to take more photos, and then it started to rain (which was a first for me). Luckily, this was not a problem for Brooke or Justin, which is why I love them. They were both so willing and excited to take photos rain or shine!
Brookie and I have been very close friends since jr. high school and when she introduced me to Justin, I knew he was the perfect fit for her. He is a genuine guy who is always making her laugh and together they portray what a Godly relationship looks like. Brookie is so beautiful inside and out (literally) and she has such a loving and tender heart, which I know Justin will protect for the rest of their lives. I wish them both the very best and I can't wait to celebrate with them on their wedding day! :)
