Inspirational shoot with Lexy

Inspirational photoshoot with the ever so beautiful Lexy Walker! I wanted to try something different from what I usually shoot and I was so lucky Lexy was willing to step in and work with me. We went to the store Joanne and bought some green flowy fabric which was the main factor in this shoot. I just loved how the fabric gracefully moved with Lexy as she danced around in the sunset. We had so much fun brainstorming and then watching the shoot come to life! Enjoy :)

Sisters in Malibu, CA

Although Aleda is blonde and Adrien is brunette (something I love about them) they are indeed sisters! These two Canadian natives left home for college to pursue their love for rowing. Aleda attends school at UCLA and Adrien at Michigan State. Adrien (who had never been to California until this recent trip) came to visit her sister for a week and I was lucky enough to do a little shoot for them on the beach of Malibu. This shoot was a Christmas gift for their mother and rumor has it... she cried when she opened the gift!

Prandini Family at Quail Lakes

The Prandini family... just look at those genes! Such a beautiful and happy family that I have grown up with in Clovis, CA. Each of them possess a unique gift that will lead to promising futures! Plus I finally got to meet precious baby McCoy. Those cheeks, blue eyes, and blonde hair are to die for!

Maddy + Zach Engagement Photos

Here are my sister and her finance's engagement photos. Taking photos for these two was so fun!  They both hold a very special place in my heart and I can't wait to share more photos on their wedding day in June.

How the couple met: Back in high school my sister had a little crush on Zach, but she never knew how to approach him. I should mention that both Maddy and Zach are quite shy! So being the awesome sister that I am... I managed to talk to Zach and joke around with him about how cute he and my sister would be together. He would just laugh and smile about the situation every time I teased him. But with all jokes aside, I knew Prom was coming fairly soon and I wanted them to go together (as did my sister). So I started talking to one of my teachers, who also loved the idea of them being together, thus we mutually agreed we were going to make this happen. Everyday we would slyly give Zach hints as to asking Maddy to the dance. For example, on her birthday I told Zach he should try talking to her after school. He did... and lets just say that was a very awkward encounter to witness. Anyways, with lots of help from my teacher and myself we got Zach to muscle up the courage to ask Maddy to prom and from there it was history! They have now been together for five years and counting all thanks to me... haha I kid... kind of. With all that being said, I am extremely happy these two found each other and get to spend the rest of their lives together. Now hurry up and get married already so I can be an Aunt.
