Vicky and Erik are engaged!
This proposal was very special to me. Vicky and I have been very close friends since high school and she has been dating Erik for almost 7 years now. So when Erik asked if I would capture this special moment for them I was beyond thrilled! Erik decided to propose to Vicky at the top of Moro Rock in Sequoia National Park. Erik invited all of his and her close friends to join and be a part of their special day. For Vicky, inviting a large group of people was nothing out of the ordinary since we all go on trips together often.
We started the hike in the afternoon and probably reached the top in 45mins to an hour. At the top, Erik's best friend Dakota snuck the ring to Erik and the long awaited moment had finally arrived. Without making it too obvious, I asked another couple within our group if I could take their picture first. Then I asked Vicky and Erik to go next. From there, Erik turned to Vicky and got down on one knee. It was such a beautiful moment to witness and everyone cheered with excitement! She said yes and they popped some champagne to celebrate.
Congrats Vicky and Erik! You guys deserve each other and your love is truly inspiring. I love you both so much and I can't wait to celebrate with you guys on your wedding day! :)
